A saved set of processing settings that can be applied to other images in one action.
In depth
Presets are most valuable as starting points and consistency tools — a house look applied across a shoot, or a baseline correction for a particular camera and lens. They cannot compensate for exposure differences between frames, so a preset applied blindly to a mixed set will need per-image adjustment afterwards.
