Combining several overlapping frames into a single wider image by aligning and blending them.

The software finds control points in the overlaps, warps each frame onto a common projection and blends the seams. Frames should overlap by about a third, be shot in manual exposure and fixed white balance, and ideally be rotated about the lens's entrance pupil to avoid parallax between near and far objects.
Examples in practice
Eight vertical frames at 50 mm stitch into a single file with the sweep of a 20 mm lens and four times the resolution.
