DCP Profile
A DNG camera profile, the file format used to describe a camera's colour response to raw processing software.
In depth
A DCP can hold two illuminant-specific colour matrices, interpolating between them according to the white balance, plus optional hue-saturation lookup tables and a tone curve. This makes it more capable than a plain ICC input profile for raw work, which is why raw converters use it in preference.
Examples in practice
A custom DCP built from a colour checker under studio strobes renders fabric swatches closer to the physical samples.
