Projection
Displaying photographs by projecting light through or onto a surface, for audiences rather than individual viewing.

In depth
Projection is a transmissive medium like a screen, so it can show a wider tonal range than paper, but its practical contrast collapses with any ambient light in the room. Images generally need slightly more contrast and saturation than for print, and the projector's native resolution and gamut should be matched at export.
Examples in practice
A club competition image is exported at the projector's native 1920×1200 in sRGB rather than at print resolution.
