Derived Units
Units of measurement formed as algebraic combinations of the seven fundamental SI base units.

In depth
Derived units express physical quantities such as area (m²), force (Newton, kg·m/s²), pressure (Pascal, N/m²), and electrical potential (Volt, W/A). Many derived units are given special names to honor prominent physicists.
Examples in the real world
The Watt (W = J/s = kg·m²/s³) for power, and the Ohm (Ω = V/A) for electrical resistance.
