Generating a delivery file from an edited image, with a chosen format, size, colour space and metadata.
In depth
Every export is a set of decisions about the destination: sRGB and 2,048 pixels for the web, Adobe RGB TIFF at full size for a printer, JPEG at quality 90 with full metadata for an agency. Because the master is untouched, the same image can be exported repeatedly for different purposes without any loss.
