Relativistic Momentum

The linear momentum of an object moving at relativistic speeds, scaled by the Lorentz factor γ.

Classical momentum p = m v fails at speeds approaching c. As v → c, relativistic momentum approaches infinity, preventing massive particles from reaching or exceeding the speed of light.
