De Broglie Wavelength

The wavelength associated with a massive particle, expressing its intrinsic wave-like character.

Louis de Broglie hypothesized in 1924 that if electromagnetic radiation exhibits particle properties, matter particles must exhibit wave properties. Wavelength λ is inversely proportional to particle momentum p.
